evaporative cooling fans     The human race spends billions of dollars worldwide to achieve their temperature comfort level. This is done to the largest degree in an enclosed environment where there is control of the air being introduced into that building.

It is under these controlled environments that we are able to heat or cool the temperature to a level that best suits them. It is here that we find that the work area is controlled and efficiency levels are at their highest. Until now we have done a pretty poor job (in most cases) of doing anything about cooling the worker in an enclosed outside environment-factories, warehouses, garages, etc. The heat causes loss of production, poor attitudes, blurred mental thinking, heat exhaustion, and high employee turn over. These conditions add up at the end of the day costing all of us money and time.

It is interesting to note that when you combine temperature and wind, that the felt wind chill temperature is not really the outside temperature but something different. For example, if the outside temperature is zero(0) degrees and the wind is blowing 15 M.P.H. the perceived temperature becomes (wind chill) minus thirty-three degrees, but if the winds is blowing below 4 M.P.H. the temperature remains at zero degrees. The point being the more wind blows the cooler we feel. In the cold weather, it works against you and in the hot weather is works for you.

Through our observation and testing we have found that to cool off the worker you must introduce large amounts of cool air. Air conditioning will not work in an open environment because you can not produce the needed volume of air. Picture having your house air conditioned on a hot day and opening every door and window. What happened? Before long, the house is at the same temperature as the outside air. The air conditioning simply cannot keep up with the outside air coming into the house. In order to do this economically, evaporative cooling must be used and our WayCool units have these capabilities. The large model are designed to be used in an industrial application. Our smaller model is designed for porch and patio areas, garages, home work shops, individual work stations and also specialty applications such as ducting into the attic for working on air handlers or other confined areas where there is not any good way to get relief from very hot conditions. Versatility, operating cost, and effective results all add up to a product that is long overdue.
We all know the hotter a person becomes, the less productive he is. In sporting events where large amounts of energy are expended, you will see a number of ways being tried to cool people down. Why? Simply because it is a fact that if they are cool, they will perform better. The same holds true in the work place. If we were to observe a worker on a hot day in the early part of their workday, we would find their production level at a peak. Now observe that same worker in the afternoon and because of the heat, their production has gone down . Attitude is poor. Capability to think clearly is diminished and so on. Think about it. You are still paying that worker the same amount of money at this diminished level of work as you were in the early part of the day when their performance was much better. How much are you losing by this person not being able to do the job at their full capacities? We know our Waycool portable evaporative cooling unit goes a long way to solve these types of problems and that your investment in our product will be a definite advantage to you and your work place. With the versatility in our product, other uses will be found in your business and in other unrelated areas that you can utilize, and at an operating cost of about .50 cents a day, it is hard not to consider this investment a wise choice.
